Model AO-6 Bench Style Welder

The Thomson Bench Type welder is ideal for welding small part assemblies at high production speeds.

This efficient, rugged machine is available as a spot welder (standard), a projection welder (optional), or with a wide variety of special tooling to fit specific requirements.

Specifications:

Upper Tip Holder - Built in ejector type, water-cooled with tip close to center of ram to eliminate deflection. Complete with a #1 Morse Taper electrode adapter.

Lower Tip Holder - %" diameter x 3" long water cooled ejector type, with #1 Morse Taper mounted on a rectangular lower horn to permit adjusting holder left to right.

Head Construction - Air operated, press type, anti-friction head with rolling diaphragm air cylinder. Low inertia operation with consistent weld force and quick follow up performance.

Air Line Accessories - Consist of solenoid valve, regulator, pressure gauge and speed control valve.

Frame & Neck - Heavy fabricated steel construction to minimize deflections under maximum load.

Heat Regulator - 8 point tap switch

Water Circulation - Series System with flow indicator

Throat Depth - 6 inches

Air Cylinder - 700 lbs. force @ 80 P.S.I.
Maximum stroke 2"
Recommended working stroke 1 3/4"

Foot Switch - A single stage foot switch is standard.

Compact design ideal for bench use. Machine Height 30"
