Frame and Neck -
Heavy fabricated steel, rigidly constructed to minimize deflection under maximum load.
Upper Welding Head
- Air operated press type anti-friction head including aluminum ram and cam roller type
bearings operate against hardened and ground adjustable ways.
Air Cylinders
- The fixed 4" stroke double acting cylinder (standard equipment) is
used for routine welding. The adjustable stroke cylinder (optional) is
used for air conservation and faster operation. The adjustable retractable stroke
cylinder (also optional) is used to provide a longer retraction stroke of the
head to insert or remove work over obstructions while allowing the use of a short welding
stroke. Both adjusatable type cylinders have a 0" to 4" stroke.
Transformer
- 30, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200 KVA heavy duty transformers have a stacked core and are
water cooled. Each transformer has a 50% duty cycle rating in accordance with RWMA
standards. Standard voltages of 230 and 460. Other voltages available upon request. A
multi-position tap switch is standard on all welders.
Air System
- The air system includes a pressure regulator, lubricator, dual-speed control valves,
pressure gauge, and solenoid valve.
Control Systems
- A wide selection of powerful and economical programmable microprocessor controls can be
specified with the following features:
|
|
Automatic line voltage compensation |
|
|
Automatic power factor adjustment |
|
|
Multi-scheduling |
This control flexibility permits difficult welding
operations to be performed reliably at minimum cost.
Water Cooling
- A series water circuit is standard. Water cooling is supplied to the electrodes,
transformer, and welding controller.
Knee Brace
- Standard on 18" or longer throat depths.
Initiation
- By double stage foot switch.
