- Frame - A sturdy
fabricated steel frame provides complete protection for the transformer and is
substantially reinforced to minimize deflection.
- Electrode Holders -
Water cooled, ejector type, #1 Morse taper, 11/4" diameter holder x 8" long or
#2 Morse taper, 11/4" diameter holders available.
- Transformer - 30, 50,
75, 100 KVA heavy-duty transformers have a stacked core and are water cooled. Each
transformer has a 50% duty cycle rating in accordance with RWMA standards. Standard
voltages are 230 and 460. Other voltages available upon request. A multi-position tap
switch is standard on all Thomson Heavy-Duty Rocker Arm Welders.
- Air System - The air
system consists of a pressure regulator, lubricator, dual speed control valves, pressure
gauge, and solenoid valve.
- Control Systems - Offer
a wide selection of powerful and economical programmable microprocessor controls. They
can be specified with such features as automatic power factor adjustment and
multi-scheduling. This control flexibility permits difficult welding applications to be
performed reliably at minimum cost.
- Water Cooling - A
series water circuit is standard. Water cooling is supplied to the electrodes,
transformer, and welding controller.
- Knee Brace - Standard
on 18" or longer throat depths.
- Initiation - By double
stage foot switch.
